I've seen transparent cards, not business cards. But I have a wamu credit card which is transparent, I think it is possible but only on plastic, don't think it could be done on paper, lol.

My only naysay about it would be the printing, but now that you say you found someone to print them, that's fantastic. Bet it costs a pretty penny.
